CHILDREN
We often encourage pre-schoolers (and their parents) to visit us in advance of the 'official' appointment or have them come along on one of the parents' appointments to play with our toys or to simply take a tour and visit our 'Treasure Chest' and jar of sugar-free lollipops. This allows us to meet and greet our new friend and consult with the parent on oral health issues. When it becomes time for that first appointment, the examination may only involve "counting" their teeth but could also include "polishing and painting". We will then schedule additional appointments as required. Older children are typically scheduled for routine visits as determined by patient need.
